Pavement Laying

Several qualities and shades of stone can be used in pavements. The most common are limestone, granite and basalt. The most common limestone colours are white and pink, but cream and gray can also be used. Granite is usually yellow, blue/gray, pink and black. Basalt is available in black, and black-gray.

Also, several techniques may be used in pavement laying, namely, mitred, in rows, in fans and old Portuguese style.
